Department of Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics began its operations in 1993 (1372 Iranian calendar) at the former Teacher Training College, offering a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Teaching. Since 2009 (1388 Iranian calendar), it has continued its activities by admitting students to the Bachelor's program in Mathematics and Applications. In 2011 (1390 Iranian calendar), the department obtained permission to admit Master's students in the Algebra and Analysis specializations, and in 2021 (1400 Iranian calendar), in the Optimization specialization. Currently, the Department of Mathematics is active with 11 assistant professors on its faculty.
